Over the last 12 months Azure Nurseries have radically changed its growing operations. Previously concentrating its production to supply garden centre chains, we now have moved the majority of production over to growing hardy nursery stock for the landscape industry. This means that we have fewer transport and heating costs and can pass the savings onto out Trade customers.
A formidable partnership was formed in April 2003 with J. A. Jones, to offer unpresitented supply to Landcapers in the North East.
J. A. Jones is a leading UK wholesale nursery specialising in field grown trees ranging in sizes up to & including semi-matures, and container grown shrubs from 1 litre pots to specimen. Established in 1900, the nursery consists of five sites all in close proximity to each other, covering a total area of 128 acres.
It made perfect sense, therefore, for Azure to set up a partnership arrangement whereby Azure’s 2.5 acre Cash & Carry site is stocked from production sites covering 128 acres, supported with weekly top-up visits.

Opening Hours
We are open from Monday to Thursday 8.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. (4.00pm Friday) and Saturday/Sunday by appointment only. Visa & Mastercard are both accepted methods of payment as well as cash, cheque or account (subject to status).
Location
The Cash & Carry is located within the Azure Nurseries complex, in Cramlington, just North of Newcastle. It is only a few minutes drive from the A1 via the A19 turn – off. See our Map
